Reusing Your Materials

When a term or year ends, your course materials don't have to start from scratch next time. The cycle works in three steps, in this order:

  1. Working in Resources — Resources is a storage area (and work area) for your materials, separate from any one course.
  2. Saving to Resources — save your current course's materials into Resources at the end of a term or year.
  3. Adding Resources to a Course — when a new course opens, import your saved materials into it.

Coming from Another LMS?

If you have course content from another system that exports Common Cartridge files (like Canvas), you don't need to rebuild it by hand — Schoology's Common Cartridge Converter can import it directly into your Resources.
